The Sycamore tree unites the movement of the Artist, the Site, and the Season. The building pivots its axis, framing the living spaces and creative spaces around the Sycamore, marking the point at which the form gently submerges into the landscape. This orientation tracks the motion of the sun across the day and the year, providing north light for still life painting.
